For Individuals:

Full Session:

I charge £150 for a 2-3 hour session, this allows us plenty of time for multiple wardrobe, backdrop and lighting changes. This price includes 3 retouched hi-res images, a private online gallery available within 24 hours of the session, and the option to purchase additional retouched images for £20 each.

Express Session:

I charge £80 for a 1-hour session, allowing time for one outfit, one backdrop and a couple of lighting set-ups. This price includes 1 retouched hi-res image, a private online gallery available within 24 hours of the session, and the option to purchase additional retouched images for £20 each.

For Businesses/Team Portraits: To remain flexible for business large and small, pricing is based on the session time required, and the number of retouched hi-res images needed. I charge £60 per hour for the session, plus £20 for each retouched hi-res image.

For example, if you have a team of five requiring individual portraits, the session might take two hours (£120) and require 5 images (£100), bringing the total cost to £220.

Outside Leamington Spa

For locations outside a 10-mile radius of Leamington Spa, there will be an additional travel fee of 45p per mile.

Choosing the right clothes for a headshot or portrait session depends on the style, theme and goals of the session. Below are some key considerations to help guide your decision.

1. Understand the Theme or Purpose

Depending on whether we're creating corporate headshot, fashion, lifestyle, or branding portrait your outfit should match the purpose of the shoot. Also consider whether the session will be indoors, outdoors or in a specific setting as this will affect your clothing choices.

Try to match the mood of the message with your clothing style. For a serious or professional look, opt for structured, neutral-toned outfits; for something more casual or fun, you can experiment with more colourful or relaxed pieces.

2. Flattering Fit

Choose clothing that fits well and makes you feel confident. Avoid overly tight or loose outfits unless it's intentional for the theme. If you want a more flattering look, consider pieces that highlight your best features, such as tailored jackets, high-waisted pants or fitted dresses.

3. Colors and Patterns

Solid colours generally photograph well and don’t distract from your face. Choose colours that complement your skin tone. Try to avoid distracting patterns: small prints, logos or bold patterns can be distracting in photos. If you do choose patterns, make sure they enhance the overall aesthetic and are balanced. If you're booking a group shoot, try to coordinate colours without everyone wearing the exact same outfit. Complementary colours create harmony which always goes well when portraying a team.

4. Consider Layers and Textures

Layers can add dimension and versatility to your look. Jackets, scarves or cardigans can help create variety in the photos. Incorporate textures (e.g. leather, knits, silk) for visual interest without overwhelming the image.

5. Accessories

Keep accessories simple and purposeful. Avoid anything too flashy as that might draw attention away from your face or clutter the image. Jewelry should complement your outfit and hats or scarves can add a stylish element if they fit the theme.

6. Comfort and Movement

Make sure your clothing allows for natural movement, especially if the photoshoot involves active poses or if you'll be in your outfit for several hours. Wearing clothes that you’re comfortable in will make you feel more confident and natural - this will really help your final image.

7. Consider Hair and Makeup

Choose an outfit that works well with your hairstyle and makeup plan. You want to balance everything, so your look appears cohesive. If you plan to change hairstyles during the shoot, consider how your clothes will complement each look.

8. Bring Options

Bring a few different outfits or layers to the shoot to give some variety and flexibility. Consider changing into different outfits for different moods or settings during the shoot.

9. Avoid Overly Trendy Clothes

Unless shooting for a specific fashion brand, timeless pieces tend to give photos a longer shelf life. Super trendy clothing may date the photos quickly.

10. Tailor to the Audience

Consider the target audience or the purpose of the photoshoot. Is it for a brand, a portfolio, social media or personal use? Dress according to how you want to present yourself to that audience.

I am happy to work with creative directors, make-up artists and stylists. I have a network talented creatives across the UK and, if needed, can arrange this with your agreement and billed at cost.

Unless the session is an editorial with a specific look in mind, we'd usually start the session with a super natural look and we can always add more as we go along. If you have a breakout on the morning of a shoot you could wear a tiny bit of concealer, however, we can get rid of anything when retouching the photos so it really isn’t needed.

It’s recommended you don’t get a haircut right before your session. Leave it at least a week before. This gives the hair time to settle and, in case you’re not over-the-moon with your new cut, time to rectify it.

You’ll be able to change your hair style during the session. Unless under the direction of a creative director, we'd normally we'd start with a natural look, then use as much product as you would normally to get a more styled look.

Contact lenses are fine. Glasses can reflect the light we light you with and you end up with an odd glare on the lenses. If you only feel comfortable with glasses then I can easily reconfigure the lighting to accommodate.

There aren’t many people who enjoy having their photo taken, so you're not alone!

I'm very friendly and will always try to make the session as relaxed as possible. Feel free to bring a playlist along—we’ll happily connect it to my speaker.

A few ideas to help ease nerves include connecting to an action when looking into the camera (e.g., ‘to care,’ ‘to command,’ ‘to engage,’ ‘to entice’). Some people also find comfort in channelling a person, character or actor they admire.
